Unemployment Lines

The New York Times has an interesting interactive graph that displays the unemployment rateby demographic. The Great Recession has not impacted all population groups the same.

Who's been hit the hardest? For black men ages 15 to 24 without a high school degree the unemployment rate is 48.5%.

Who has suffered the least? White women ages 25 to 44 with a college degree have an unemployment rate of 3.6%.
