A friend of mine likes Jameson so when he and his wife came over for dinner recently I thought I'd try my hand at making a Jameson Select Reserve and honey ice cream.
Here'e the
recipe.
The only change I made is that I churned it rather than freeze the whipped custard. Because of the relatively high alcohol content (the recipe calls for 1/3 cup) it doesn't freeze very hard. I paired it with a roasted peach and some candied pecans.
In hind sight I should have made a double recipe.
