Bobby Jindal, the 36-year old governor of Louisiana, is being taken seriously by the national press as a candidate on the shortlist to be John McCain's Vice President. One of Jindal's job titles hasn't gotten much attention -- Exorcist.
Since we're on the topic of exorcism if you're interested this article tells the true story that inspired the movie The Exorcist. It happened in 1949 in Mount Rainier, MD which is just across the border from Washington, DC. As depicted in the movie Georgetown University was involved. It's a fascinating read and I can personally vouch for some elements of the story because I knew one of the priests involved. Kinda weird huh?
