Crazy: My Trip to Alaska

Ok, it wasn't a trip to Alaska but a trip over Alaska. A few hours into the flight I looked out the airplane window and gazed at the beautiful landscape 35,000 feet below.


Then something struck me...Sarah Palin has totally ruined Alaska for me!

It's undeniably a case of guilt by association. When I think of or see Alaska I no longer visualize pristine icebergs, polar bears, and magnificient whales but I think of Palin and my immediate reaction is yuck!

She has ruined Alaska for me in the same way that white extremists ruined Montana for me years ago, the klan ruined Mississippi for me even before I was born, and McCain has ruined the word "maverick". Whenever I hear those states names or that word my mind immediately goes to Palin, extremists, klan, and McCain, respectively.

Of course, Alaska is a still beautiful state and I'm sure there are some reasonable and friendly people there but for now I'd rather fly over than visit Alaska and that sucks.
