Twinkle Twinkle


Today marks two auspicious occasions in space history, the birthday of Edwin Hubble, the greatest astronomer since Copernicus and the 10th anniversary of the International Space Station (ISS).

Woohoo!

I won't write anything about either but if you want to learn a bit about Hubble, listen to the short NPR (Writer's Almanac) segment below.

While you listen, You can gaze at photographs of the Hour Glass Nebula and the Ant Nebula, taken by the telescope named after Hubble.
