Fluffy White Stuff

A big brain at CalTech designed a special camera to photograph snowflakes that he collected in Northern Ontario, Alaska, Vermont, the Michigan Upper Peninsula, and the Sierra Nevada mountains of California.

I'm not really going into the debate over whether two snowflakes can be identical...although it seems the answer is it all depends on what level you are measuring at (molecular, for example), which can be said for almost anything.

Anyway, I thought these photos were pretty cool...
