Gotta Luv the Net

Just when I thought I'd seen my fill of wacky websites and blogs along comes Obamafoodorama, which bills itself as "a daily diary of the Obama food landscape."

But I gotta admit, as wacky as it is it fits nicely into the intersection of two interests of mine...Obama and food.

Here are a few samples of Obamafoodorama's coverage...

• A full length article on the creation of an Obama/Lincoln portrait for the Smithsonian American Art Museum...in cupcakes!

• Breaking news on Michelle's plans for a vegetable garden to be planted on the South lawn of the White House (more to come about that later).
• Details on the food and drinks served at the White House reception for St. Patrick's Day, which included green champagne (or maybe it was really just green sparkling wine)...

There are far too many interesting things on the Obamafoodorama blog to post about now but I'm sure I'll be putting up other things in the future. In the meantime check it out for yourself...it's quite funny yet interesting at the same time.
