Saturday afternoon we were trying to figure out a way to control some bamboo that's threatening to take over a portion of our yard when we decided to try harvesting the shoots and eating them. That was a good call because they were delicious.
First mushrooms, now bamboo shoots and soon to come, wild blackberries that should be ripe before long. I kind of like the whole foraging thing and apparently so do a whole lot of other people.
