Cycle of Child "Brides"

As in the video above, why don't journalists, aid organizations and others call the practice of "child brides" what it really is, child abuse? It's as if using the term "bride" somehow lends an air of legitimacy or places it in the realm of cultural differences. This is plain and simple abuse and should be considered criminal the world over.
