View from Our Window: Chicago

We're camped out in the Windy City for a couple weeks. Yesterday was the first day that I saw sunshine for any length of time. It's been a good but very busy visit so far.

The building across the street from where we are staying (the one with the gigantic baseball bat) is named after former Chicago Mayor, Harold Washington. Seeing that building everyday caused me to think about Washington's historic run for mayor and the tragic day he died which remind me about how far this country has come in 25 years.
