City of Lights

Anytime the topic of favorite cities comes up, the city that almost invariably tops many peoples list, including mine, is Paris (I should be there now but that's a different story). 

In January '09, I did a post about an incredible photograph of the Inauguration.  The latest of these types of images is the biggest thus far and resulted from stitching together 2,346 hi-res photos into a panoramic view of Paris.

Grab a bottle of wine, some bread and cheese, set Pandora to Edith Piaf, click here and explore Paris from the comfort of your own home.  Not quite the same as visiting but the next best thing.
