Up in the Sky
Today is shaping up as space Sunday but to paraphrase the Old Testament, one post begat another.
This brought back all kinds of memories from many moons ago of attemps to see SkyLab fly overhead with my brand new telescope that I got for Christmas. It was moving too fast to track but was visible to the naked eye. To find out when SkyLab would be passing overhead, I dialed into a NASA recording (it was in the top three with the weather and time recordings) and then crossed my fingers for a clear night.
Unfortunately, Skylab came to a fiery end in 1979 but I'm sure I'll have a few more tries at the ISS.
