There's only one thing better than a Chesapeake Bay blue crabs, Chesapeake Bay soft shell crabs!
Delicious is an understatement for these creatures although cleaning them is pure brutality...step #1 while still alive cut off the face with scissors; step #2 as it continues to squirm pull back the shell and rip out its gills; step #3 walk away from the still wiggling crab, have a cold drink as it perishes, and keep reminding yourself of who's on top of the food chain.
This is about the best meal imaginable for a Memorial Day Weekend.
