It's nice to see a startup succeed in an industry whose manufacturing has been largely outsourced to other countries.

They started making jeans out of their Raleigh, North Carolina, apartment in 2007. With a dedication to local craftsmanship, a passion for jeans, and a little help from the stimulus bill, they managed to break into the premium denim business. Their jeans now sell in Barney's but all their raw materials still come from North Carolina.
My wife's been telling me I need more jeans. I think I'll finally act on her suggestion.
