Yesterday's Flavor

Blueberry frozen yogurt.

This was the first time I've made frozen yogurt but it was the easiest frozen concoction I've made so far, definitely the healthiest, and possibly one of the best.
Blueberry Frozen Yogurt
from The Perfect Scoop by David Lebovitz

1 1/2 cups plain whole-milk yogurt (I used zero fat Greek yogurt)
3/4 cup sugar
3 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
1 teaspoon kirsch (no kirsch in the house so tequila came off the bench)
2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

Blend together the yogurt, sugar, and blueberries. Press the mixture through a strainer to remove the seeds. Stir in the kirsch (tequila, rum, vodka, it doesn't matter) and the lemon juice and chill in the fridge for one hour. Freeze in your ice cream maker.

P.S. The photo isn't mine but it looked almost identical.
