You Are What You Eat

An interesting little bit from Bon Appetit...
Researchers at Nanjing University have found that bits of RNA from vegetables we eat get into our bloodstream and can change the way that our genes work. 
Specifically, in this study, they found that MicroRNAs from rice changed gene expression in mice so that their little livers became worse at filtering out bad cholesterol.
Gives new meaning to this info graph.
