Gender Dysphoria

This is a tough situation but at the end of the day all a parent can want for their child is their happiness, anything else and it's no longer about the child.

 From the Washington Post...
She first insisted she was a boy at the age of 2. "I am a boy" became a constant theme in struggles over clothing, bathing, swimming, eating, playing. Eventually, a psychologist diagnosed gender identity disorder. Now Tyler 's parents allow him to live as a boy, and the 5-year-old is reveling in his new identity.

Happiness (or as I prefer - peace) is key, isn't it?

As a mother of 3, I say, thanks for the reminder.

I pray for this child's peace and happiness.
