Up in the Sky

ISS
Skylab
It's interesting what can trigger a memory.

Last night at 9:48pm we watched -- from the bathroom window-- the International Space Station transit over Washington, DC.  It wasn't much more than a quasi-fast moving light (actually it was two lights, I think do to the dual solar arrays on the station) making its way across the heavens.  Nonetheless, it brought back memories of standing in the yard of this same house with my Dad in the mid-1970s and staring up at the sky as Skylab passed overhead.

Just one of the many pleasures of living in the house I grew up in.
