Retro Metro

For the DC area folks, an interesting and somewhat long video about Metro that dates back to the 70s. I half expected to see my Dad in the background as an extra -- back in the day he used to work for Metro buying real estate.

I remember riding it during its opening weekend in 1976. The first segment went from Rhode Island Ave to Farragut North -- one stop short of the route I take now.  The more things change, the more they stay the same.
