As much as I hate to acknowledge this, it's crystal clear that there is a segment of the U.S. population that is just plain old dumb. No matter what they see, hear, or read they have a view of the world, events, and/or people that simply can not be changed regardless of the facts, not today, not tomorrow, never...it's just not gonna happen. It's a shame but also sad.
The latest Pew Poll (in which Barack Obama leads John McCain 48-40) asks registered voters what religion they think Barack Obama is. Only 57% say that he's Christian. 12% say Muslim. Another 25% don't know. 1% say he's Jewish.
