Granita is about the easiest thing to make in the recorded history of mankind...and that's an understatement.
On a hot summer day, whip up some granita and you won't regret it...simply delicious. You can make all kinds of different flavors and let your imagination roam. Google "granita recipe" or go to Epicurious.com and do a search. The key to good granita is to remember to scrape it with a fork every 20 or so minutes so that it is flaky when it freezes and not just one big frozen block.
