Yesterday's Flavor: Black Sesame


I tried black sesame ice cream for the first time a few weeks ago at Kushi, an izakaya in DC. Last night, we had a few friends over for a Japanese dinner so I thought I'd give it a shot.

It was a bit on the sweet side for my taste so if I make it again I'll dial back the sugar. Other than that it was pretty good and the color is quite unique for an ice cream.

I'll try any kind of ice cream! Except coconut flavored - ugh!
