But we didn't come for the view we came for...
Five wonderful days on Grand Cayman celebrating my wife's birthday. If you visit, a few things to check out:
- Seymour's Jerk...not remotely close to fancy but delicious
- Yoshi Sushi...all-in-all quite good, try the local white tuna if they have it.
- Captain Marvin's Stingray City Tour...at 94 years young Captain Marvin is a local legend
- Roland's Garden...unfortunately we didn't get to dine here since it's in the process of moving but the new location looks great, the concept (no menu/pay what you want) is ideal for the islands, and Roland seems like a phenomenal host
- Cemetery Beach...don't let the name scare you the snorkeling is fantastic
- Rent a car and explore the island...it's only 25 miles long and 8 miles wide.
