View from Our Window: Grand Cayman

Not the best in the world...

But we didn't come for the view we came for...

Five wonderful days on Grand Cayman celebrating my wife's birthday. If you visit, a few things to check out:
  • Seymour's Jerk...not remotely close to fancy but delicious
  • Yoshi Sushi...all-in-all quite good, try the local white tuna if they have it.
  • Captain Marvin's Stingray City Tour...at 94 years young Captain Marvin is a local legend
  • Roland's Garden...unfortunately we didn't get to dine here since it's in the process of moving but the new location looks great, the concept (no menu/pay what you want) is ideal for the islands, and Roland seems like a phenomenal host
  • Cemetery Beach...don't let the name scare you the snorkeling is fantastic
  • Rent a car and explore the island...it's only 25 miles long and 8 miles wide.

May you both be blessed with many more birthdays, and all the sushi and snorkeling you can handle. :)
