Goodye Space Shuttle

One day after the 42nd anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, the era of the Space Shuttle came to a close this morning with a 5:57am touch down.

From NASA...

Seems like Neil Armstrong started a dramatic quotes trend.

I watched the final Space Shuttle launch at the office a couple weeks ago and remember watching the first launch early in the morning over 30 years ago. After 135 flights - 5 with astronauts I know - it's sad to see the Shuttle come to an end but it had an awe-inspiring, if at times tragic, run.

One last video, about a little known beach house in Florida...
