Today's Flavor


I crashed early last night so I was up this morning at 5:30 to mix up the batter for Vanilla Chai Tea Ice Cream to accompany a Banana Pecan Bread for tonight's dessert.

The recipes are here, except for three changes to the ice cream: steep 6 teabags with the milk and spice mix (I used Earl Grey), add an extra egg yolk, and add a 1/4 cup more sugar.


So far so good.

I feel like I'm gaining a couple pounds just by looking at that!

So what! I'd eat it anyway, and make myself get on the treadmill...
eventaully.

Nice to have an outlet when up before the chickens.
