A Time For Change

Over the past four months this blog has been a learning experience for me. I started it as a way to share and store articles, videos and other interesting items I came across as I randomly traveled around the internet. It's still a virtual scrapbook; however, it's evolved into also being part journal, part soapbox, part time capsule, and part classroom.

Although my primary motivation for starting this was not to get a zillion folks reading my posts, it is nice to know that some people find it useful. Over the last four months, this blog has had over a thousand visits from people in 107 cities and 11 countries in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Not quite good enough to make a living off of but I've enjoyed every minute that I've put into it.

As I changed the blog, the blog in turn has changed me. As a consequence, today after making my 300th post, I thought it was a good time to give the blog a makeover.

Here is what's new...

• The name has been changed to RANdom's Walk which is more reflective of my journey with this blog and also has a couple other play on words meanings. (please note that the URL is still the same).
• The blog has gone green!
• The blog explanation was rewritten and simplified.
  
• The heading classifications of Hmmm, Wow, Crazy and Fascinating are no more. 
• There are quick reaction and star rating buttons at the end of each post in which you can rapidly express your view on the post if you'd like
  

Not terribly drastic changes but this is an evolving process.

Many people have given me feedback and made helpful suggestions (thanks CH) over the last several months for which I am very grateful. I am particularly thankful to my wife who has been highly supportive and indulges my new found hobby.
